The area was great for the places we were going to visit. The children enjoyed the pools and game room. We also made use of and enjoyed the breakfast items.
The staff at the hotel was some of the nicest we've seen in the hospitality industry! We received a warm welcome and a smile whenever we passed by the front desk. How refreshing!
I was apprehensive about booking a room in a hotel I had never heard of, especially on the internet. When we arrived at the hotel, checked in and went to our room, I knew we had not made a mistake. Park Grove is now at the top of my list when it comes to places to stay. The staff was very nice and the hotel was very clean. Furnishings were comfortable and up to date. It was a very suited to a family stay. We are already talking about returning to Pigeon Forge next summer and I know exactly where we want to stay --- Park Grove inn.
Only had one disappointment. The website stated the continental breakfast had a waffle maker but they only had frozen waffles.
It was quiet and clean. The beds were very comfortable. I had read this in the reviews and that is why I chose the Park Grove Inn. I was very pleasantly surprised that the beds were as comfortable as people had reported. I would definitely stay again.
The ice machine was slow with the ice. Friday the room was not cleaned until after 3:00 p.m. The hallways smelled a little musty.
the sink and the tollet both kept backing up
The reception staff was excellent, especially Troy. They were able to guide and recommend places to eat and places to visit. Troy was great. I had broken my eyeglasses in half. He recommended the local Walmart. Although I was apprehensive, Walmart staff took very good care of my problem. Troy also provided me with needed items that were not being replennished by the maid. (See next statement.)
The maid service is very poor. Aside from pulling the beds and changing towels, (and a poor job at that!) the maid did nothing else. Half-way in our stay, I had to go to the front desk to get soap and shampoo. We also almost ran out of toilet paper.
Clean with an excellant staff
Friendly and,helpful cleaniness parking
Clean rooms with comfortable beds at a reasonable price.
no coffee maker in room. Had to go to lobby in pjs to get coffee in morning
friendly atmosphere, large rooms that were very clean and comfortable. Pool and arcade was great with older kids. Breakfast was convenient and so was location. did not have to fight traffic to get in or out. Located near gas stations and grocery stores.
Clean and accommodations were great. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet.
Room we were in had outside light that shined thru door of patio. Very irritating to try and get to sleep.
The guest helper at the lobby was awesome good and friendly. I interacted with a man and a woman at front desk. The woman was good and pleasant, the man was rude. The breakfast was average but not so good. The woman at the breakfast room was rude. The room was very clean and comfortable. I think they are overpriced if compared to other available places, but they are well marketed so they were full while nearby hotels were empty
It was an overall great stay. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. Very easy to get in and out of. The indoor and outdoor pool was wonderful because of the mixed weather we had.
View & location, & balconies
Park Grove Inn was a great value for the money. We stayed in a two room suite for a very reasonable price per night. This was just a quick weekend trip so it fit perfectly into our budget.
While the hotel was clean, there were a few small improvements that could make the building even better. For example, on our floor the carpets could have used a deep cleaning; there were stains in several places. The wallpaper in the bathroom could use an update as well. It was peeling in some places due to the moisture which is confined to the small space.
